We are moving forward with our plans to open an on-site Preschool at Stanton St Quintin Primary School. The consultation period is nearly at an end, but there is still time to make your views known. Please email the Clerk to our Governors - the contact details are in the pdf below.
With the move to more technology to keep in touch and learn, many children now have increased access to the Internet. Whilst online safety and digital citizenship form a core part of the curriculum at Stanton, it is important parents also have knowledge of online safety.
The National Online Safety organisation have some very useful guides for parents and children on their website.

This week is National Poetry Week and we would like to celebrate together!
UPDATED WITH CHILDREN'S POETRY VIDEOS
Every week in term time Rhine Class look forward to the delivery of the First News Newspaper and now we are able to deliver straight to your inbox for you to read at home. Check your e-mail for this week's edition.
First News is a weekly newspaper aimed at 7 to 14-year-olds that aims to get kids talking about the news in an easy to understand and non-threatening way. They cover issues which are relevant to children and which specifically affect them. Inside you’ll find a mix of world news and UK news, but also loads of fun stuff, such as entertainment, games, animals, sport and puzzles.
First News is bright and colourful. The layout of the paper ensures there are lots of little snippets of information that are really easy to dip in and out of. But there are more in-depth special reports for the more confident readers. For more details visit: https://subscribe.firstnews.co.uk
Happy reading!
