  • A visitor from Rhine Class

    Published 30/01/22

This week, Amazon Class enjoyed having a visitor from Rhine Class, who shared her wonderfully written myth with the children. The children were in awe of her writing and suitably inspired to continue to grow as young writers. It’s always so special when the children can share their learning with each other.

A huge well done to our special visitor!

  • Dancing Through the Decades

    Published 30/01/22

Over the past few weeks, the children in Amazon Class have been learning popular dance moves from the 1950s-2020s, during our Thursday PE sessions.

Dance is a fantastic way to keep fit and also aids co-ordination and memory. We have had such a lot of fun learning these dances and the children have been fantastic!

We hope you enjoy our final cut!

  • Ripped Paper Penguin Art

    Published 10/01/22

Amazon Class welcome you to take a look round our ripped paper penguin art gallery.

We had to use our observation skills to look carefully at the details on an Emperor penguin and use our fine motor skills to carefully control the shape we tore out of the paper.

If you look really carefully, you will see information about how penguins habitats are becoming endangered. This term we shall be learning more about this and finding out what we can do to help protect these wonderful creatures.

We hope you enjoy our gallery!
